The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical specifications. Additionally, they will design, create, and develop KPI reports, dashboards and centralize data repositories to derive meaningful insights from large datasets. Progressively, there might be need for building and implementing data models. We are specifically looking for business analysts with solid understanding of Product Analytics, Marketing & Campaign Analytics and Retail analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather Requirements: Work with stakeholders and managers to collect and document business requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyse datasets to identify trends, do RCA and provide actionable insights to help various business teams enhance their decision-making to generate better ROI.
- Process Improvement: Identify and propose solutions to enhance business processes.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs if required, though we have an MIS team who work on dashboarding.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of requirements and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in business process understanding, requirement gathering, and translating them into technical specifications.
- Strong proficiency in designing, creating, and testing data models.
- Experience in designing KPIs, dashboards, and reports for projects.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (BigQuery SQL, Python, Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI) and data modelling. Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Ability to perform end-to-end complex analysis, from discovery to execution and delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
