Challenge

The client, a cloud-based software solutions provider, initiated a project on sales enablement and wanted to measure the impact of the same on its sales teams and their delivery.

They facilitated enablement through internal training modules for its sales teams and started with running a few courses –the next objective was to assess the impact of the courses across different learner segments (i.e., sellers across different regions, markets, operating units etc.), based on which they wanted to optimize the course content and learner allocation. For this, Priorise had created an interactive dashboard. The client now needed help to develop a system that could readily provide a review of the performance of courses on the go over different periods, in an automated fashion for different stakeholder groups.

Solution

Priorise’s team of problem solvers proposed a solution that involved creating an automated system to push insights to different stakeholders based on data combinations in the dashboard.

Data extraction from SQL database to Python for processing

A new algorithm to create the control group, where every course taker was matched to their peers with similar characteristics in terms of the region served, allotted targets, performance and markets catered to

Impact measurement for all courses in terms of uplift for the treatment group with respect to the control group, across multiple KPIs and different learner segments

Auto-generation of text-based actionable insights from the data

Building easy processes to upload fresh tables to SQL and code push to GitHub
