Associate/Assistant Manager - Human Resources (Recruitment)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Core Tech Recruiter with strong experience in hiring for technical roles (Data, Engineering, Analytics, etc.), along with exposure to HR generalist responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be hands-on in end-to-end IT recruitment, with the ability to contribute to broader HR initiatives as a secondary responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Tech Recruitment (Primary Focus)
    • Drive end-to-end recruitment for IT roles including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI Developers, Backend/Frontend Engineers, etc.
    • Develop and execute strategic hiring plans aligned with business needs.
    • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial HR + basic technical screening.
    • Coordinate and manage interview processes with hiring managers and leadership.
    • Ensure strong candidate experience and engagement throughout the hiring lifecycle.
    • Maintain and update accurate tracking and reporting.
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tech talent for current and future needs.
    • Stay updated on market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks in the tech ecosystem.
    • Support hiring for non-tech/business roles such as HR, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, as needed.
    • Adapt sourcing and evaluation strategies based on role type and business function.
  • HR Generalist Responsibilities (Secondary Exposure)
    • Support HR initiatives aligned with business and people strategy.
    • Assist in employee engagement activities and workplace culture initiatives.
    • Handle employee relations queries, basic grievance handling, and HR support.
    • Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth HR operations.
    • Support onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT/Tech recruitment (must-have).
  • Exposure to Non-IT hiring and HR generalist activities (good to have).
  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and hiring landscape.
  • Experience working with ATS, job portals, and LinkedIn sourcing.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability.
